The composition and function of programmable DC power supply

The programmable DC power supply is mainly composed of input grid filter, input rectifier filter, converter, output rectifier filter, control circuit and protection circuit.

What are the functions of programmable DC power supply?

1. Input network filter: prevent high-frequency noise from switching power supply from spreading to the grid, and eliminate network interference such as motor starting, electrical switching and lightning strike.

2. Input rectifier filter: rectifier and filter the input voltage, and provide DC voltage for the converter.

3. Converter: it is the core component of programmable DC power supply. It converts DC voltage to high-frequency AC voltage, isolating the output part from the input grid.

4, output rectifier filter: the converter output of high frequency AC voltage rectification filter, get the required DC voltage, while preventing high frequency noise interference load.

5, control circuit: detect the output DC voltage, compare it with the reference voltage, and amplify it. The pulse width of the oscillator is modulated to control the converter and keep the output voltage stable.

6, protection circuit: when the DC power supply overvoltage or overcurrent short circuit, protection circuit stop switching power supply, protect the load and power supply itself.
